If it's to be louder add more power.
If it's to be more sound quality then try a larger box tuned a bit lower on the same or a little less power.

What are you goals here? The xcon is very good musical/Daily subwoofer. Are you looking for more bandwidth in your sound? upgrading to that EVIL would be a downgrade because 2k isnt going to get the full potential out of it. 3" coil is much more efficient with what power you have on tap. Hows your enclosure for the xcon?

If you like the sound of the Xcon, the Evil is not far off in sound signature. It will roll well on 2k power. Just build a nice efficient enclosure and have at it.
