Looking to build a budget setup for my 2018 wrx

Looking to do a set of 6.5 components

A decent sub maybe a 10 or 12 in a box for the trunk

Decent amp with line level inputs to power the setup any recommendations?

Not looking for power slamming bass, just better music production compared to my stock setup. I am also wanting to keep my stock headunit

I actually just got an 8 inch jl sub in a box, looking for an amp and some components but nothing expensive would like to keep it all under 200 for components and amp maybe 250 tops

if u doing 1 pair of comps and the sub u should just get 4 channel power it all and run rears off hu or not even run them., cause that 8 don't need much power anyway..
That’s what I’m thinking, any suggestions amp wise?

yeah i woulda said 900.4 it's far in a way best power for $ but for the comps u can get after buy that amp and the fact u have tiny sub... i think it maybe to strong for u, 190x4rms for comps probably rated at 60rms and bridged it's like 450rms to sub.. it's the best deal but u have to turn gain way down for speakers/ sub u will have.. lots of peeps have ppi here, some guys have 4 of them lol., i have the mono 1k version of it..

Bump any info on the ion520.4?
It's been a few years since I used the iON amplifiers but they were decent. They performed adequately. I should still be able get them. Are you after adequate performance? Is it the physical size that attracts your attention?

I like the price point and the foot print, plus the line level inputs are good for me because I’m keeping the stock headunit

Try removing all the signal from the amp, turn the gains up and down, see it is present. If it is, then the amp is the issue,if not, then it is...
