Fosgate p3 or alpine type r

Back in highschool I had a couple friends that had type r's and all of them had problems with them blowing eventually another friend had p3's and they never blew... So it's up to you the p3s sound more durable to me

Type Rs just dont like a ton over rated power. The rating is pretty appropriate.

I would take an E over either one, but the E wasnt asked about. If op is open to suggestions, there are definately other options

Maybe ask RF tech support. I wasn’t able to find that either. Sonic electronics and Crutchfield just use the same description as the rf site. True...
