Any T/S specs and overall dimensions on this Ciao? I've been looking for the right driver for an IB/oversized sealed install for a while for my vehicle. Thanks!

This is much better suited to a vented enclosure but certainly has what it takes as far as excursion and power handling are concerned to go for an IB install. You'll need EQ since the Qts is on the low end.
I tried like hell to find the spec sheet online but couldn't. I will have to plug them into the original listing above.

What enclosure specs would you recommend? I quickly played with WINisd and the easiest thing for me is an 11 cube enclosure (the trunk) and using the skipass as the port (~6x11) and tune to mid to high 20's.

WINisd optimum was approximately 4.5 cubes at 27-28hz.

Yep, that sounds about right. I think I was modeling something like 5-7 @ 22-25 for my tastes.
I think you'd be fine to try the IB install, just watch the power until you get familiar with it.

I cant imagine the EM field on that thing. Don't get it near any silverware [emoji14]

That's the beauty of this magnetic circuit, there's very little wasted flux showing up as stray field. It's all internal and focused on the coil. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.

Off the shelf design, nothing special and will sound like a bull horn. The best pro audio drivers I’ve heard are the crossfire XTpro6’s. The best...

The formula is Square Root of your target Wattage Multiplied by Ohms. 50Wx4Ohms=200. Square root of 200 is 14.14. So 15v AC is your target.
