I had one. I did a direct swap from a directed 1100d5. The directed was quite a bit louder and wasn't as harsh at full tilt. The soundstream would send my tweeters into protect early at moderate listening levels. It wasn't a bad amp by any means but didn't stack up to one of my directed's. I use a lot of 5 channels and the directed have always been my benchmark.

actually both size and power. I'm heading to buying the DD D5.1000 amp to see how they are but I wanted to check out the Image Dynamic SQ1400.5 amp but the rep got back to me to late
How much is that amp? Always willing to try a new 5 channel
