Is it possible to tap into factory BT mic for aftermarket radio?

I assume that all stock HU's have a 2 wire mic that plugs somewhere in the back of the unit or within the wiring harness. If one is able to locate these wires can it be tapped into for aftermarkets mic jac so that you do not need to use the cheap, ugly aftermarket mic?
