port help?

I'm designing a center ported box but there will have to be bends in it as of right now the inner port dimensions are 3 high by 7.75 wide. When I get to the back of the box where the turn has to be do you half the port height to make it 1.5 at the back and go both left and right and do you half the remaining length and go wither way?? Any help is appreciated

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
