Amplifier power raised

I have 2 jl w3v3 10-4 subs wired parallel to 2 ohms with a lanzar vector 800 watt amplifier. After I got the amplifier I looked at the specs on it and it said it only put out 275 watts at 2 ohms which means that only about 138 watts are going to the subs. It can handle 500 watts rms, so if I got a new amplifier that could fully power the subs, how much louder would they be?

Probably a decent bit louder. But more importantly it should save the speakers from having the coils burnt up.
Under powering a sub will never burn it up. A ton of distortion and dirty power from a cheap amp can kill them from creating excess heat. But yes going from 275 watts thats probably not clean to a clean 1000 or more, you will tell a huge difference.
