Replace under hood battery with a good agm, and add at least 1 or 2 more batteries in the back, along with a quality high output alternator to be safe.

why a head unit???...i thought it would be obvious (my bad) i have a HU already

...and i want to know how many amps at the alternator...what type of battery under the hood/trunk

Will this work?...or is this overkill?XS Power D3100 under the hood

240 amp alternator

Big 3 upgrade
definitely not over kill.... under kill, bro, I needed 2 batts, and a 260amp alt for 3000w... your gonna be running over 4000w.............. I'd have to say what you listed and atleast one other batt in trunk....... if not more..........

You will need upgrades. My old D'3s would kill my battery bank. 2 of them at .5 would rape my voltage very fast.

I had 2 under the hood and 4 in back. Ohio gen alt helped big time.

your gonna need a high output alt... and some about 4 batt's...
You sir have lost your mind. The amp is 2k rms and for that power with the highs amp one batt in the back would be fine. A ho alt isn't totally needed but, should be highly recommended.

Should be good to go without those fuses. Read the manual that comes with the new stereo. If it doesn’t say to add additional fuses, don’t.
