I am installing a q1-2200d and here is what I have planned for electrical. Please let me know if any o it is overkill and if I can save money anywhere without sacrificing quality. I will do a double run from front battery to rear battery.

170 Amp Alternator – DC Power - $450

XS Power D2400 Battery Up Front – Sonic Electronix - $310

XS Power D3400 Battery In Trunk – Sonic Electronix - $259

Two 25 Feet Cadence 0G100 Black 0 Gauge Wire – Audio Savings - $49 x 2 = $98

Two 25 Feet Feet Cadence 0G100 Red 0 Gauge Wire – Audio Savings - $49 x 2 = $98

Two Xscorpion T4GP Box Terminals – Sonic Electronix - $6 x 2 = $12

Three Xscorpion ANL1010G ANL Fuse Holders – Sonic Electronix - $7 x 3 = $21

Three Xscorpion ANL250GL 250 Amp ANL Fuses - Sonic Electronx - $3.29 x 3 = $9.87

Four Xscorpion BTRG Triple Ring Battery Terminals – Sonic Electronix - $10 x 4 = $40

Just a suggestion, cadence wire is crap, try a different brand. It's the same size as knu 4 gauge, and is cca not ofc if that was the selling point. I almost bought it myself but did some research first. Check the wire comparison sticky in wiring and electrical for more, but i think it's on the third page or so.

*same size as in strands. It has a ridiculously large jacket.

Just to throw it out there check out sky high cable
I agree Sky high cable is much cheaper, next is audio technix or i think they are called ct sound now, why dont you just change your front battery first and alternator change and see where your voltage is at, for 2200w you might be ok, you can always add later

Here is the updated list

270 Amp Alternator – DC Power - $675

XS Power D3400 Battery Up Front – Sonic Electronix - $259

25 Feet Collosus Flex Ground 0 Guage Wire – Knuconcepts- $3.95 x 25 = $98.75

25 feet Collosus Flex Posistive 0 Guage Wire – Knuconcepts- $3.95 x 25 = $98.75

Two Xscorpion T4GP Box Terminals – Sonic Electronix - $6 x 2 = $12

Xscorpion ANL1010G ANL Fuse Holder – Sonic Electronix - $7

Xscorpion ANL250GL 250 Amp ANL Fuse - Sonic Electronx - $3.29

Two Xscorpion BTRG Triple Ring Battery Terminals – Sonic Electronix - $10 x 2 = $20

Xscorpion 10 Pack RT0B 0 Gauge Ring Terminals – Sonic Electronix - $13

What size alt do you have now? I'm running on a stock 120 amp and voltage does just fine. Maybe try it first then get an alt if needed. Unless money isn't an issue then yeah go for it.

Yep after thinking today I am going to go with the biggest at I can get which is a DC Power 270 amp. That will cover me for future amps if I decide to go bigger
