I currently have a DEH-P600UB.. old school Premier HU I've had since high school.

Ordered a new DEH-X9500BHS and I'm pretty sure the connector on the back is not the same as my old HU.

I was wondering where I could get a wiring kit for the new HU.. or how to do it. This is my first time replacing a HU on my own. I have a 2004 Tacoma.

Or can I use my current wiring kit and splice all the wires together?

Thanks. It hasn't come in yet, so I haven't had the chance to see if the wiring process will be straightforward. Do I just remove the existing spliced wires and splice in the new harness to the existing wires?

There is already a dash kit in my truck for a single DIN unit I was hoping to reuse it. As far as the harness, there is already one present from the existing HU harness to the OEM plug, so do I just splice the connector wires that come with the HU to the adapter harness? Or are there specific harnesses for specific HUs?
