There ya go... I don't care what people say about AP. That much power for that cheap is a deal. Even if you use it for a year and throw it out! It was 170 bucks! Who cares?!!

^^this, it will work for you application. I loved what mine did for my set up.
The AP1800 needs an inline fuse of 120A, which I don't understand because my PPI BK1800 needs 160A. Both are rated 1800wrms at 1ohm.

From what ive heard apsm 1500 and 2k are almost identical so not sure how muxh more power you will get from apsm 1500 to apsm 2k

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC.
Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
