Hey guys, I just got a Rockford t500-1 bd and love it. I replaced a Kenwood and the difference is night and day for my sa12. It's wired to 1 ohm and still sounds very clean.

When I bought it, I was originally shopping for a 500/1 or a 500/1v2 and found this deal. I love doing nearly 700wrms on occasion, but how much more powerful is it over the JL (@ 4 ohm not that it should matter with the reg. Output)? Also, how much cleaner will a JL be with that parametric eq vs the "punch eq?"

My question is, if I could do a straight trade Fosgate for the JL, would you recommend it or should I stick with my mint condition t500?

You're better off getting a more powerful amp than one with a different brand. Both are great. It would just be a sideways move imo.
