Item(s) for Sale:

Shocker Super Extreme (TC9 varient) motor, RE 12 spoke basket, 2 spiders, Memphis cone, dual 2 ohm copper OEM TC Sounds coil, custom CF dustcap (not really pretty, but lightweight and covers the cone. You could tape it off and throw on a few layers of clear coat if you needed it glossier... I was trying to keep MMS down so wanted it light)

Item(s) Description/Condition:

Never been played, glue still drying. Will pull some TSPs later when the glues dry

Price:

150+ shipping. This is probably going out in trade, but if there's any interest I can make up more in a week or so when I get back from some traveling.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

I use USPS, should be @ 40 pounds boxed up coming from 02675

My new 15! You're going to be making a few of these from the looks of it, lol.... That's a dang nice sub for 150.

what kind of power handling? box specs? etc.. all that good junk
I would say 1000W continuous/thermal judging by the coil, mechanically should hold up to 2KW provided you're not a complete ******* running below tuning or similar. Somewhat soft suspension so I'd say 4-5K burp right at tuning would be about max. Specs added below

looks like it is good for 1500 rms to me.
I would say pretty much bullet proof

Nice sub. Were you the same person who was making home made CF caps?
Been working on those for a while off and on. I really can only do so much without vaccuum bagging, but so far I have some that I'm quite happy with. This one isn't too shabby. Some imperfections and not really glossy, but functional and unique. Got some really sweet orange and black Carbon Fiber/Kevlar weave I'm working with now.

Specs

* f(s)= 32.30 Hz

* R(e)= 0.83 Ohms

* Z(max)= 16.12 Ohms

* Q(ms)= 9.635

* Q(es)= 0.524

* Q(ts)= 0.497

* V(as)= 98.150 liters (3.466 cubic feet)

* L(e)= 1.62 mH

* n(0)= 0.60 %

* SPL= 89.89 1W/1m

* M(ms)= 342.70 grams

* C(ms)= 0.07 mm/N

* BL= 10.50

Models well in 4-6 cube. Can be tuned low if you wanted to use for movies, but I'd stay between 35 and 45hz tuning.

Also models decently in a reasonable size 4th order alignment. IMO 4th order is over-rated, but it does model decent if you have 5 cube to split between chambers.

What about a 6th?

me gusta treo ssx.... reconed by geoff_me.

Not a big fan of that sub. 4" coil which I don't like because they're really expensive to recone and the basket has very limited x-mech. Probably good for SPL applications, but nothing I'd use or find a home for locally I don't think.

I'd probably bite if it were 3" coil since it's a beast looking motor.
