OK to run 500W rms subwoofer from 300W amp?

I haven't bought anything yet, but I plan to buy a JL W3v3 sub and a 4 channel Diamond Audio D600.4 amp (300W rms when bridged).

Will this be enough power for my sub?

I want the 4 channel amp because I also plan to run my front stage from it (I'm not going to use the rear door speakers).
