question about tweeter connection

I'm going to be running 3 12s to a dedicated amp, and I want to run 4 tweeters to a dedicated amp as well.

Whats the recommendation for amp connection

Should I use a 4 channel amp directly?

or should I use the High crossover on an amp?

Im going to be using 4 Alpine SPS-1005, rated at 120 watts each / 60 watts rms

If you want to run four of them I would suggest using a 4 channel and and giving each a dedicated channel. Make sure the highpass filter is sophisticated enough to run upwards of 3kHz and above to make sure the tweets dont get frequencies outside of their response.

You will need to hipss them at about 5000 Hz. The HPF on most amps doesn't go that high, so you'll need to put a passive crossover between the amp and tweet or an active crossover before the amp.

No problem. I think alot of the issues I see on here are people aren't differentiating between AC (music) and DC voltage.
