i know versions of this issue are everywhere, but i want a specific answer.

what are the chances of me blowing a 10" infinity reference sub (model: 1060w, rated RMS: 275w) with a kicker dx300.2 amp (300w RMS) in a sealed box?

i dont crank my music too loud, so i thought i would be fine till i read that kicker amps are usually underrated. but then again sealed enclosures can "handle more power".

what do you experts think?

I have always run my subs at higher power than what is rated just make sure you get a close match on RMS not Peak. Don't clip the signal and it will be fine.

My buddy has two 12" Inf references in a ported box and a ~440 watt Kenwood amp, sounds good for what it is. I don't think it really likes that ported box since the impedance readings from both are at like 6 ohms so something weird happened.
