i have an old jvc headunit and it doesnt put out sound through harness wires but will through rca jacks can someone point me into direction of the problem please

its not my main hu its just a backup and wanted to fix it if i could
I wouldn't bother. Just buy a new one for 50$
its either get another head unit or get a small amp to run on your highs/mids. the amp always sounds better to me anyway
