I recently bought a 2018 Mazda 6. It has a 6 speaker stock audio system: a speaker in each door and a tweeter on each A-pillar. The stock system is not great, so I ordered a component kit to replace the left and right speakers in the front doors, and maybe the tweeters if I can figure it out. The kit is FOCAL ISS 165 that I got from Crutchfield. I swapped the woofers with the door speakers and everything seemed to be alright, they perform well and the soundstage is definitely improved. I left the tweeters and crossovers and other stuff in the box for another time.
However, in the week or so since I've had them in the car, I've had a spike in tinnitus (the high-frequency buzz in my ears). I've been using the speakers very lightly, even restricting myself to classical music and talk radio at low volumes since the tinnitus became noticeable.
For some reason, maybe superstition (I don't know much about how car audio works), I have this weird idea that something about the wiring of the car and replacement of the speakers has caused the factory tweeters to bombard me with high-frequencies and causing the discomfort. Today, I took a day trip with my family (1 1/2 hours each way) and my ears feel really fatigued and very buzzy, which has led me to decide that I'm going to put the factory woofers back in and see if it helps.
Am I being foolish, or is there a possibility that this tinkering I did is causing some weird sonic blast to my brain?

So ive been lookintg at subs to put under my seat in my truck. ive been wondering whether the difference in a comp r and a comp vx is substantial. im just looking for somethting that will vibrate the cars around me?
I was gonna get 2 compvx 12 but now im wondering whether or not two compr 12 would do the trick. Or if there are other subs anyone would recommend

Hi everyone. Last year I've built this little enclosure for a Honda Crx Del Sol. I would like to hear some opinions about the build.

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. The stock radio went out so I purchased a JVC double din.
I purchased all required harnesses through Metra (70-5521) and even a steering wheel adaptor (SWI RC) through PAC audio. I followed all instructions and solder all wires to each color. The white wire coming out of SWI RC required me to splice into the yellow wire (pin 18) in the original harness coming our of stereo console. When I turned on car, nothing happened and radio never came on. I know I have power cause the LED lights on steering wheel adaptors were flashing. No power, no sound nothing.
I didn't like my soldering job (used electrical solder wires) because it looked sloppy so i cut wires and redid all the wires by crimping them. I thought this would help since maybe my sloppy soldering job did something. IDK.. When I was soldering I would occasionally touch the insulation causing it to melt which is another reason I did not like it. I also noticed on the metra harness there was a solid blue wire but I did not have a solid blue wire coming out of JVC harness so I crimped it to solid red wire.
I tried turning on car now and still no power but now my alternator is sputtering. The car was starting fine yesterday when I soldered everything and gave no indication that alternator was bad. The only thing I did different this time was that I removed the negative (Black) cable to the battery prior to crimping and connecting all wires. Not sure if I did something to cause it to dry.
What did I do wrong. How can i get this stereo to start after i fix alternator.
