There is a 1008 also. The 1008 is more of an SQ sub, and the 508 is more like the 1508. The 500 series is on the b rev of the subs.

We got to put it in a car yesterday, sounded great, not quite a 1508 but a nice listen to daily sub. went on the back channel of a c5b.
