I wanna make my blue camaro have a nice sound quality system.

To list, Ill tell you what speakers I already have.

Ive got 2 sets of Crescendo 6.5's comps, going into the door once I get a custom piece made. I took my Kenwood Excelon out of the scion, and into the camaro.

I was gonna run a 10 inch sdc2.5 i reconed for the deep bass, and just run it off an aq1200, but that might change.

now, here is what i am asking.

I want two 8 inchers for some midbass to go where I have these 6x9's. So they need to have a small motor, possibly one from parts express. Cheap price would be very nice.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif

JBL GTO804 8" Grand Touring Series Single 4 ohms Car Subwoofer

or

RE Audio REX8D4 REX 8" D4 DVC Car Audio Subwoofer SQL Sub

I know t3 audio has gotten a bad rep, but i bought a pair of these just to try out when they where $39 a piece.

I'm in love with these little 8.

I'm working on some vented kick pods @ .35.

Im going to be running them @ 8ohm bridged off of the dsc 4.125.

I did built a .26 cubit box to test 1 out.

I mounted the box under the passenger side dash.

125 power=bandpass-lowpass,150 & highpass,50 thur 60, slope 24= the midbass was tight & clean.the upper midbass had a slight peak that i had to EQ the it down some. The midbass had a really nice punch to chest. I let a couple of my friends listen to this with my Markaudio fullrange.

They where suprised that i only has one midbass & no sub setup.

500 power mono= I change this out to sub output.

amp LP 150,24slope.

deck Lp 160 12 slope.

This sub can really hit hard, I was so suprised at the out put of this little think.

I have a pair of fullrange Markaudio in the pillars.

This sub blends, that i cant wait to finish up my kick pods to hear what both subs will sound like.

my old school original Kicker free air 6x9's would be perfect for your camaro //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif too bad i'm not selling them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

slappin , as a previous owner of 3 different 3rd gens i'm gonna tell you now , you will be better off putting your midbass in pods somewhere in the front. either doors or kick panels. The location in the rear side panels is terrible for any type of bass. Maybe a pair of 8's in door pods , a pair of crscendos in the dash and a pair in kick panels?? It doesnt hurt to try it out for yourself but i have never got anything to sound off in those 6x9 holes.

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...

Honestly, beyond what you need. It will do the trick for sure, but it is excessive. Not a bad thing, just more than you will ever need. No need...
