So I had an old buildlog up before,

http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-build-logs-cars-trucks-suvs/380585-build-03-chevy-s10-xtreme-4-18s.html

(not worth even looking at, most of the pics are broken)

but it was literally going no where because I ran out of money for it and couldn't afford to finish it. Now that has changed. This I guess is what you could call a redux. NOW onto the build!

Everything is being redone on the truck, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING! Right now I'm finishing up the underbody, which is why you see it apart

the interior is going to be fully custom fiberglassed with full custom door panels and all that jazz...

The truck is going to be entered in the IASCA TunerJam contest at SBN, and if you know what that is..you'll know that your judged on every detail from under the car to in the engine bay, so I'm leaving no stone unturned on this build.

So this is what it's going to have

????? prototype subs (cant say till they're released)

2 15,000D amps

12 Rubicon 600.4 amplifiers

4 Rubicon 600.2 amplifiers

3 Mechman 270 alts

20 XS power D1600 batteries

12 10' PA's

12 8" PA's

16 bullet tweeters

6 Horn tweeters

18 6.5's PA's

Carputer

Xs power VCM

All Tsunami wire

Secondskin Audio Deadened

here's some pics... like I said right now I'm just refinishing the underbody so your not going to see any audio sexxxx for a couple weeks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the frame is being painted with POR-15, the most durable paint I've ever used, takes 3 weeks to get it off your hands (REALLY!)

Well today's mini update: Parts running //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Right now I'm replacing the fuel lines and brake lines... my current lines aren't that bad but still have some scab rust on them, better to replace them now than later.

Also I just ordered this today as well :good:

DEE Engineering PROTHANE bushing kit

Also getting new body mounts, the stock ones right now are UGLY!

this should really add a new look to the underbody when its clean, as well as restore some of the ride suspension.

nice looking start, keep us up to date on the team //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
