Hey I'm trying to delcie between 2 2" kicker l7's or 2 12" fi ssd12. I'm mainly looking looking for SPL but i would like to try to get some SQ. Also they will b going in a ported box. Plz don't try and Recommend another sub I hate it when ppl do that it just confuses me more.

I didn't like my L7 12". I would go with the SSDs

i vote ssd just because i would want SQ, though i always wanted to run some solo barics just because they are square

I have the 08DS12L74(Dual 12" L7's in the Kicker ported box), and they do get very loud. My only complaints are SQ (isn't really there at all) and it doesn't get as low as I would like. All around great subs and I love them to death, but they do serve only one purpose.
