avoid majestic-2-sound at all times

I bought a kenwood headunit through majestic-2-sound on ebay a few weeks ago and after spending hours trying to install it and then taking it to a professional installer it was determined that the unit was faulty. They ended up providing me with a working unit which i bought through them and then i returned the defective unit to majestic-2-sound. They got it back and claim that they plugged the unit into a bench and it worked and they refuse to refund me. I filed a claim with paypal. Is there anything I can do to get my money back. Do not deal with these guys!

Sorry but the point is that it works so you should of never sent it back to us , now we are stock with shipping and ebay and paypal fees for no reason.

i don't know how it works for you guys when I myself hooked it up and then had an audio shop hook it up and it still did not work but like i said I have left my place and would like my money back. If there is nothing wrong with it then i'm sure you'll be able to sell it fine.

As you see on our policy we do not do refund but we offerd it to you thinking that the unit was bad but there is nothing wrong with it , it works right away once we hooked it up and it id the same unit you sent back to us with the same ceriel # . So again there is nothing wrong with the product .

I tried to hook it up myself and also took it to a stereo shop where they have that same unit and they could not get it to work either. I don't want this unit back as i got it from them because it worked. I want my money back and i'm not even asking for the shipping costs i paid to get it back to you.

it wouldn't power on. I tried everything possible. Checked for blown fuses, it wouldn't turn on. Connected it directly to the battery like the kenwood technicians said to do, no power. Took it into a car audio shop and the unit would not turn on. I'm pretty sure the unit was bad.

Hey, I just received the headunit and tried to install it and it wouldn't power on.I troubleshooted with kenwood and they said the unit was defective. I'd like to send it back.

Sorry to break it to you but you're screwed. You never should have sent it back without getting a refund first. Now you have no head unit, no refund, and no proof it didn't work. The seller is just going to provide proof that they sent it to you and that's all paypal cares about. I bet you the shop charged you a crap load more for the Head unit than what you paid on ebay too right? You got taken man.

the shop i got it from charged me like $10 more for the headunit. Is there anyway out of this? They had asked me to send the headunit back and they would refund me because its defective but that didn't turn out ot be the case.

Going from what you posted they never said they would refund you. They said send it back and they would test it. They claimed they tested it and it worked fine. Paypal isn't going to help you. If you paid with a credit card then you might want to try to get them to do a charge back but even then it's still might be difficult to get your money back because you have no proof it didn't work. You definitely shoud have gotten proof from the shop that it didn't work or taken video or something.
