I would at least put a new battery in there. I got my YT at autozone for like $180.

Was just wondering if stock electrical could handle this amp and have had any experience with it.

It's not like the amp is fixed at one power level.

I think 90% of this forum has had experience with this amp.

Do not run this amp on stock electrical. I have run an SAZ1500 in my truck with an oversize alternator, a kinetik battery, and the big 3 done. I still got voltage drops when I beat it hard. An SAZ1500 is going to put out between 1500 and 1900 watts rms, and it needs power to feed it. Running any amp without sufficient power is going to give you issues, and will potentially damage the amp. Yellow top is great, but then your stock electrical has another battery to keep charged. Not a good solution. It is a downward spiral bro. The heavier the draw and the lower the voltage drops, the more power the amp needs to remain stable. Don't cook a high quality amp by underpowering it. You can run it, but need to be careful with your settings, and keep it away from heavy voltage drops.
