kick panel/pods help?

alright ive read alot on fiberglassing and want to try it out but first i want to make sure i have all the steps down right

1.Lay down Foil, Paper, with some painters tape for security

2. Lay down Matt, Fleece, Stretchy material

3.Cover with resin(how thick? and how lond does it usually take to dry?
