neither of those subs are "SQ"
if you want "sq", neither of those are good options, but if i had to do one of them, i would use the type R's and tune them LOW, like ~26-30hz.

VR4 power.
ive got and HDC315, tuned to 38.5 and 4.6 cubes, not a ton of SQ, but it will take the power a lot better than the arrgghghhhhhhs
Only reason l7's sound bad is because they are usually tuned to 40hz, same as most of the other SPL DD'ing subs around here.

type R's will get LOUD meter wise on that kinda power, but that is in a competition situation

I would have to say the aq! but like all the others said not alot of sq comin from this sub! lol but will get louder with the right power!
