ok everyone this enclosure comes to 4 cubes tuned to 38hz after displacements. it has 87 in^2 of port area. will be wrapped in either black or charcoal carpet when finished. here are the pics...

and a nice stain on the inside of poart with carpet would have looked cleaner

not my choice if it was me i would have stained the whole thing. he hates wood grain for some reason //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif but i have it finished up just need to upload pics. he only used birch to save weight

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
