I have personally heard the SUV's sound loudest when they are subs up and port back. Just personal opinion though. It does depend on mic placement, as stated earlier.

In mine with 2 subs its both back port drivers side.
Depending on which headrest you meter at, you might try firing port too drivers...but i meter in drivers kick so i fire too pass side, and subs back on drivers side.

I think he said subs up and port side was loudest, than subs back port side.
