Ok I Read A While Back About Using 1" Acrylic Sheeting For Windows On Enclosures. I Wasn't Sure Has Anyone Used This Before? Is It Like A Solid Plastic Type Material? I'm Working On A Whole Setup Design To Change The Bottom Portion Of My Trunk So Can Acrylic Sheeting Support Some Weight?

Any Help Would Be Appreciated

Acrylic is very strong, especially in 1" thickness.

We use 1/4" acrylic for some displays here at my work, supported (hanging) by just two 3" acrylic "arms".

I've actually tested it before, and just one of them held a 12" L7 and a couple thick books, before it broke.

So, yes 1" acrylic would be very strong. Especially if the "foundation" is strong.
