With that much power, ur not gonna get any true SQ, lol.
With 1500w... i'd go with the XL, the lvl 3 is only 600w RMS, and lvl 4 is 1000w RMS. I dont know how underrated they are thouhg...

The level 4 would be your best bet for 1500watts. I've actually seen level 3's run 1500wrms for burps and they held up fine. but for daily the level 4 would be the safest on 1500watts.

The lvl 4 or lvl 4 xl?
Do you think it'll sound good with fast bass like with rock music? its for my daily driver

the lvl 4 are actually like 1500rms thats what rusty told my friend, they put those numbers on their site so kids wont be destroying them.

^ lvl 4 is around 1500wrms. and even at 1krms, with your power it will sing. if you go the XL, youll be under-powering it. lvl 3, overpowering it slightly.
PM KHARPS as he went from lvl4's to lvl4xl's. Has a Sundown 3k on the pair. I believe he also listens to some rock/metal at times...

1500 RMS would push the XL fine.
I had 2 XL 18's with 2 Sundown 1500D's @ 0.5 ohm a piece and they rocked. Never got warm even after playing for a while..

i've got the same amount of power and after talking with KHARPD and Rusty (DC vendor/sales guy) we figured out that a single Level 4 15" in 3.5 cubes would be ideal for what I was looking to do. just to make sure I made the right choice I'm got an Fi Q 15" that i'll be reconing soon to see which one sounds better and hits harder if any difference.

We had a set of level 4 12s running off an SD8k for a while, clamped around 4500ws, so I think the level 4 would be fine.
