12" sub

about 97 percent of people here are gonna tell you to build your own, and yes for ported prefabs are more expensive than sealed. and it all depends on the sub you buy; some subs like sealed more than ported and others dont it all really comes down to the sub

from what i've seen 12" sealed is like 1-1.5cf and ported is 2-2.5cf. It really does depend on the sub tho.

It really depends on the sub. Alpine recommends 1.3 cubic feet for their 12" type R while a box build that I'm doing for Dave_damage's SS T4's recommend 2-4 cubic feet PER SUB lol. 2 being smallest, 3 being recommended, and 4 being max. So yeah, definitely find out from the manufacturer what the recommended volume is as it can vary quite vastly.

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
