JL 12W6v2 vs Kicker L7?

Plan on going with a single 12" woofer in my daily driver.

Local guy has a Kicker L7 already in vented box for $250, I could pick up a 12W6v2 for ~$200 and build a custom box for it.

Which has better SQ? What pounds more?

I'll be using my JBL 1200.1 amp

great SQ...and get pretty loud. It compares to an IDMAX.

L7 sound like loud farts to me....the originals were better

BUT: with 1200wrms (BP1200.1) I would go with 2- 12W6v2s

great amp BTW

 
I would get the w6, WAY better SQ and it will still get decently loud, I wouldn't compare it to an IDMAX though. It is more comparable to the IDQ v3, which I would pick over both of these subs
