Im looking for two ten inch subs that will run good off of a 800 watt pioneer amp.

I was thinking of getting JL Audio 10W1v2 4 ohm. Anyone hear any good or bad things about these subs or have any good suggestions for 10 inch subs that are under 100 a piece?

I doubt you will notice a change in going w1v2 into re sr

at any case the Op already has the pioneer amp.

SO getting two subs that handle 150-200 RMS ea would be perfect.

If I were you I'd get 2 12" w1v2s in a nice ported box.

have you thought about 1 ten?

you put 600 to 800 watts to 1 ten that will out do those 2 jl"s

i dont know if you have heard those subs yet, but you can find better .

in the right box any of these subs will sound great.

 
If I were to go with just one sub would a 12 or 15 be better or will my 800 watt not be enough to push that.

 
I guess another way to put it is I have about a 400-500 dollar limit to get subs and a amp. Right now in my car I have 800 watt rockford fosgate wiring.

So if you want to go off that im looking for all suggestions on what to get.

my old setup was two e class alpine 10 inch sub with an older model 800 watt pioneer amp. one of my speakers blew and my amp just went out so im looking to get something different.

 
Going for SQ or SPL? Mix of both? How much of your trunk space do you want to keep?

A good combo I could think up off the top of my head would be an AQ1200.1 and an HDC3 15. $500 shipped exactly.

will the 800 watt fosgate wiring run the aq1200?
