Ahhhh.......... the civic. most I have done were simply a false floor with the enclosure attach to it. And the false floor attach to the car with a piano hinge. You can motorize it if you like also . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeah man. A false floor is simply a piece of wood 1/2" - 3/4" thick depending upon the weight of your enclosure. That is cut in the shape of your hatch floor. Take a compass and trace the perimeter of your hatch floor on some cardboard, and make yourself a template. Then trace your template on your wood. And get to cutting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Once you got that done. You can attach it with a piano hinge right behind the back seat. Then build your enclosure on the false floor. leave yourself some sort of handle to lift it with.

If you use a hinge. make sure you don't drill into the gas tank. It will be right under the area your working //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i'd just say build ur box an' set it on top if you're to lazy ta mess w/ it like me, lol

Only problem there is if he ever gets a flat its a big pain in the ass to unhook your amp and pull out your box in order to get to your spare. Trust me I had to do this along side I-79 one time.
