OK to leave stock tweets in?

So I have a set of IDCTX65CS comps on the way, replacing my 5 1/4" Kenwoods and stock tweets in the door.

I planned on mounting the tweets on the A-Pillar, and modifying the door to fit the 6.5"s. My question is, would it be overkill to leave the stock tweeters connected? They are running off of the HU, and seem to be in a bad location in the middle of the door firing straight ahead. Thanks!

i'd disconnect them if it was me.
Yeah I figured it was kind of a silly question, one of my old friends had a pretty loud trunk setup and to compensate he put tweets on each pillar and two in the doors, like a total of 8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

It was like a constant sizzle in your eardrums. Nasty.

That is the perfect spot to do that. OEM sub may interfere with the new one and cause cancellation.
