Going into a daily driver but want to be able to throw up some good numbers on a TL. Would you guys recommend 4 12"s or 2 15"s? Budget for subs is around $800 but flexible. Going in a 08 Escape and the biggest box I can run is about 8-10 cu ft.. What are some good subs for this kind setup? Nightshades?

4 12s would be more cone area but it would depend on brand too. If you were to compare 4 12 FI BTL to 2 15 FI BTLs I would say go for the 12s unless you dont have the power to push 4 12s then I would do the 2 15s.

stock alt for now.. and depending on set up on how many batts but at least 2 d3100s in the back and a d5100 under the hood.. eventually alt upgrade.. all 1/0 wiring

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

If they had an orange basket I would have to buy them.... Hmmmm Sell my 4 Xs and get 6 of those and do no-wall again with one more 4500.....

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...
