I took a corner too fast and my power wire splitters extra piece of cable for the 2nd amp that is currently unhooked got wrapped around a screwdriver and rolled to the trunk lid. It wasn't much fun, after i saw the fire in the trunk i was outta the seat had the trunk lid popped open and was rippin the screwdriver out and stompin on it before the car even rolled to a stop. cop showed up 20 secs later( **** they're fast ) and asked if i needed the fire dept lol. afterwards i went to the ***** bar and thats about it. Lesson learned, never keep dangling power wires in your trunk with screwdrivers sitting around back there.

oh i forgot to change that, other night i tested out some prefab bandpass boxes and roasted both 12's, now im back to 2 15s

the whole wire was around 150 degrees after just 6 or so seconds. im glad i acted as fast as i did, how hot would it take to blow the battery? and im puttin in a fuse today as well lol

lol nope, one reason i've been rollin around with 1/4 tank max of gas the past year. if it did burn down i wouldn't want it to be too big of an explosion
