*Power handling: 75 watts RMS/125 watts max *Voice coil diameter: 1-3/8" *Nominal impedance: 8 ohms *Re: 5.15 ohms *Frequency range: 80-5,000 Hz *Fs: 77 Hz *SPL:

92.9 dB 2.83V/1m *Vas: .32 cu.ft. *Qms: 2.10 *Qes: .52 *Qts: .42 *Net weight: 3.5 lbs. *Dimensions: Overall Diameter: 6-1/2", Cutout Diameter: 5-5/8", Mounting Depth: 2-1/2".

seems fine except the fact they are 8 ohm drivers and are hard to work into a car audio system.

seems that they are also a 6.5 and not an 8

well guy's i think colt is right on this one for me would be alot of modding what bout these daytons.

* Power handling: 50 watts RMS/75 watts max * Voice coil diameter: 1-3/8" * Voice coil inductance: 1.40 mH * Impedance: 8 ohms * DC resistance: 6.0 ohms * Frequency response: 33-4,000 Hz * Magnet weight: 15 oz. * Fs: 33 Hz * SPL: 88 dB 1W/1m * Vas: .98 cu. ft. * Qms: 2.75 * Qes: .37 * Qts: .33 * Xmax: 3.15mm * Net weight: 3 lbs. * Dimensions: Overall Diameter: 6-1/2", Cutout Diameter: 5-3/4", Mounting Depth: 3-3/16", Magnet Diameter: 4", Magnet Height: 1-3/16".

If you want to build your own component set with 8" Mids, you could always look at the Kicker SSMB8's, they sound really good, and really pump out the midbass.

still the same issue with this one, see if they ahve it ina 4 ohm coil.

yea it doesnt matter at all if its 8 ohms or 4 ohms, just less power youll be sending it...

but anyways, i have the dayton 7" woofers... they look pretty **** beefy + sexy as hell... i've yet to install them but from what i hear, they get pretty loud + low

Well obviously he is on a tight budget and I am assuming that he doesn't have gobs of money to power an 8 ohm driver seeing as you will need a pretty decent sized amp to get decent power to them.

My point is why install them and then underpower them?

might as well run them off your hu.......right?

Please stop with the 4 ohm vs 8 ohm thing.
I'll post this link once again because I'm tired of typing the explanation.

However, here is a great driver for the money, and it does happen to be 4 ohm.

Those prices are in Canadian. Somebody on here knows the website in America you can get them from.

Please enlighten me why an 8 ohm driver is better than a 4 ohm driver in a car audio application?

Sorry guy's i put up the wrong one they make a 6.5 dayton in a 4ohm i post the wrong like sry here's the right one:D.
