Eclipse finally got smart

I think you speled finally wrong.

Well they used to not have detachable faceplates because of the ESN. They figured that since anyone who sees that it has ESN will know that the CD player is useless without the key CD. The wrong assumption on their part was that they thought everyone would know not to fuq with Eclipse. Most crackheads don't know the difference between an Jensen and an Eclipse, though. He'll steal em and sell either for $25.

Nice thing is, that if you have a CD player with ESN and you had it installed at a Eclipse retailer, then they'll send you a new one for free if your radio is stolen.

This one looks pretty nice, I think it might be the 5100 or 7100.

Yes it did, but now the 3100 and 5100 are also included in that. CD3000 was one of my best sellers due to the cost for my general customers. Now with the 3 year warranty back as well as detachable face it is just that much more enticing.

i feel ya on that. but i got cd5000 for 250 bucks all said and done. so for me i wouldnt pay double just for those features.
