Amp for HD3 12"?

Right now I have a SD2.5 12" and a PG x600.1, but i'm craving for more and am selling that setup.

I've been reccomended an Orion 2500D, but I read that these things require new batt./alt. right? Are there any with this power that don't require me to do these? I would preferably want at least 2000watts rms.

Price range is not too much higher than $300.

A x1200.1 wouldn't push it to its true potential i'm guessing?

Just another pg600 and 2.5 if u can fit it.2000rms doesnt equal not electrical modds of a price range of 300.For a few more bucks about 320 u can get Power Acoutik 3000,they put out a good 2000watts, I got a good 2200 out of each of mine.Great budget amp.

huh? lol. i can probably fit another 2.5 and another x600.1, but i'd rather not. i'd like as much trunk space as possible. i'll look into that power acoustik 3000.

I am all AsS backwards,what I meant u cant get 2000wrms on an stock electrical system,and it is hard to find a real 2000wrms for 300 bucks.

well sh1t. i guess here i go searching the forums about electrical systems.

either that or its back to what i was going to originally do and fvck trunk space and get another sd2.5. any reason why i should get another x600.1 instead of selling it and getting a x1200.1?

i can imagine setting gains would be a ***** for me with two x600.1s if i wanted it to sound good since i do it all by ear.

 
would the output difference really be that much? i know that these amps put out about 800+wrms but i haven't contacted pg about checking what mine specifically does. i mean the single SD2.5 is nice, but i know that i want more.

i'm probably going to have to go with another SD2.5 and another x600.1 because that looks like what is best right now. hopefully each amp will put ~800watts to each sub?

sick...good to know, but right when i was getting comfortable with the idea of 2 sd2.5s i'm stuck in the middle between that a hd3 again lol.

Any other reccomendations on some not so power hungry amps. Only planning on doing BIG 3, not any real electrical upgrades. Cheaper = better
