polk

The SR series has gotten some pretty good reviews. Not too many component sets out there use a ring radiating tweet...part of why I'm considering them if I stay passive.

Depends on the models you're looking at, but I'm sure better can be had in the price range

I've owned polk equipment before and enjoyed it, but at retail its quite expensive

The signature reference series does look quite promising

I believe Polk was recently bought out by DEI, so we'll see what happens with their new lines

From my experience, Polk are excellent sound quality speakers. I run the momo's for front stage and will be adding some Polk tweets in a coulple of weeks. They are beautiful. I have no experiece with their subs. Alpine type R gets the nod there. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with the coaxals or componants.

i have a MOMO sub, and i am planning to get the MOMO comps up front.

the sub is pretty good. Good for a budget sub. SQ is good enough, and for a 12 with 400 watts it's pretty **** loud. My hair vibrates, if that is any indication
