If you dont want your trunk to rattle turn down the bass dummy.
That or deaden the **** out of it. Any sub in a undeadened trunk is going to make it rattle, just because you threw a "sq" or what ever sub in there, doesnt totally change everything, you definatly have a lot to look up

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
