Well, I know this has probably been done before, but have not seen any done in a while. So lets see what you all got. Here is mine. I just got the Sony Wega HDMI ready 50" rear projection TV, that I love but probably be taken it back for the 40" LCD Sony Brivara. I just think this tv is too big plus dont know if I like this rear projection style. Let me know what you guys think. Oh yeah also you can thank the girlfriend for the woman homestyle touch, ahaha! Yep I paid for that crap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Old setup getting taken down. I will miss it.

Hope to see what you all are sit back and watch while you throw back some beer and popcorn.

You turd! That's a nice set-up. I'll post mine tomorrow when I'm bored. It's not a home system, but a dorm system and it definetly shakes some **** around. I get in trouble all the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Eh, what the hell, my dorm setup for this year...

It consists of:

2 back loaded horns W/ Fostex FE103E drivers

1 DD 1008 sub

1 Behringer EP2500 sub amp

1 ART SLA-1 Main amp

1 Behringer T1953 preamp

1 Behringer CX2310 crossover

Next year the mains are staying at home and the new project will be a rockin in the dorm.

Next years mains will be towers w/ tripple AA mids per side, haven't quite decided on a tweet, there are two that I'm throwing around, same rack gear powering it, possible replace the ART SLA-1 with an SLA-2 though. Not quite decided on the sub stage yet either, I think the DD is gonna be in my truck, and I migh be lookin at an RL-i 10" for dorm duty...

i dont have any pics of mine at the moment but here it goes.

42" Mitsubishi hi-def Projection TV (best bang for the buck)

digital cable w/ hi-def

Denon 3805 Receiver (silver) in 6 channel, not 7 due to room layout

Denon 2910 DVD Player

Monster Power HTS-5100 MKII Power Center

all in ceiling speakers:

Niles Audio DS 8.5 Center

Niles Audio CM8AT Fronts

Niles Audio DS 6.3 Surround L,R,C

Velodyne SPL-1000R subwoofer (amazing woofer, very cool features, and 1000 watt rms amp)

It would be real nice if we had a section for home audio, hmmmm.

Yeah i know there is one. But I put this here to get more hits, cause not many people go there. Thanks for your input. I see you think before posting.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Also if the mods do want to move this there, that is fine. This thread didnt take off like I thought it would.

In ceiling FTL !Onkyo HTIAB FTL !

its cheap and sounds good
they actaully have excellent SQ. great midbass. but thats what you get when you buy speakers that are 800 a pair. the setup needed to be mostly out of sight, so in-ceiling was my only choice.

Judging by the popularity of this thread I would say the Home audio forum is slow moving due to subject NOT it's location outside of the lounge. I do think before posting, hence the reason I didn't participate or put this thread in the wrong place to begin with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

even still

In ceiling is so much worse than actual towers.

But if you want them hidden its the only way to go.
