kicks.. how do they mount?

Screw them down.

I usually try to bolt them in. Most of the time I pre plan mounting before I start glassing. That way I can glass a couple of washers in strategic mounting locations. i got prefabbed q-logic kicks designed for a 1999 dakota. not a perfect fit (dash style changed in 2001) and i needed to fab some tabs on their backside. but overall they hold my RE comps well. they feel flimsy but i have no issues with them rattling.

^ well i thought they could handle 75 watts per channel... looking around now they were only rated for 50w. got another thread started on this, back to kool kickpanels.

i've given mine 80w daily for about a year now.

i molded mine to the factory kicks as well..

thats the best way...deaden the back, stuff it with foama nd call it a day

i prefer the look of 2 seperate rings, rather that a single baffle, i'll put up a pic of mine when i find a pic
