xplod/kenwood

I have a 95 S-10 EXT CAB and looking for a nice system that can give out ALOT of base and good quality sound.

Whats better the xplod head unit or the kenwood?

Xplod:

Head Unit: ]CDX-M770 ES

AMP: XM-6001GXD

Speakers:

XS-HF58

Kenwood:

Head Unit: KDC-X917

Same amp/speakers as above.

Subwoofer:

Im new to this car audio stuff and im not to sure what is good and whats not...

Right now all Id like to have is one 15'' or one 12''. What is the best sub for either the kenwood or xplod?

In a few months after I get the 1 sub/amp/head unit/speakers Ill be get another 15'' and two 12'' (how many amps will be needed to run this?
