xbox360 + mouse + keyboard?

wow...people who play on a pc play against people on a pc. Same for consoles, that is one of the reasons they dont make xbox360 vs pc mw2 matches man. On the pc you can move the mouse much faster, and stop much fester with it then with an analog stick. Then i'll leave it up to microsoft to sue the manufacturer that builds an add-on that allows mice to work with their gaming system, while you continue to fight for your right to play with an inferior controller type. Im not trying to be a dick here either, but this really isnt the place to debate the fairness of being able to play with a mouse on your xbox. You speculate why they dont have pc vs xbox matches, I speculate that microsoft added a usb port to allow such additions, if it makes the playing experience MORE FUN. I dont think that's really unfair, do you? If anyone can buy the mouse setup, I dont see the big panty bunching problem tbh.

I agree with you that the mouse/keyboard control setup is superior...but it's not that hard to adapt to the controller...I've done it for many games

Im not interested in being forced to conform to an inferior controller. I bought the system to extract as much fun from the experience as possible. A mouse and kb would accomplish that. If you find yourself saying you had to 'adapt' to the controller, why not look into the mouse alternative yourself? If you have some notion the original controller is about the 'purity' of the gaming expereince, I think you are over thinking this situation.

With the idea that using an inferior controller method somehow equates to fairness or fun. Again, not asking about anything any other gamer out there couldn't buy either. Hell, for all I know, half the xbox'ers out there already use the mouse setup Im asking about. I dont see the relevance of stating maybe I just **** because I want to use a controller we already agree is better.

Ive tried adjusting sensitivity, that is not the issue. For me at least, a mouse makes movement in an FPS just feel more realistic and natural. That equates to a more fun expereince. if you prefer the controller, more power to you.

I've just never really cared enough. It wasn't that hard for me to adapt to using the controller so why would I go through all the effort if I don't need to? Besides, I dont think the controller is "inferior". As far as first person shooters go, yeah I'd rather have a keyboard/mouse. But for everything else, I prefer a regular game controller (dualshock FTW). But I can still have fun using the controller to play FPS's.

Yep, that's the device/add-on Ive been talking about. I was hoping to get some info from anyone here who has used it. I just read those reviews and they are quite favorable. Guess I'll have to plunk out the $80 for it tho (seen it cheaper elsewhere). Thanks for the input.
