xbox360 + mouse + keyboard?

I know we have some xbox360 users here, anyone have a mouse and kb hooked up to it? I recently purchased a 360, and trying to play Modern warfare 2 is a nightmare. Solo play is okay, as it snaps to nearest target when you go to scope mode, but in multiplayer version (xbox live) it does not, and trying to target with the analog thumb joysticks is a nightmare. First person shooters are so much better with a mouse for aiming. Ive looked and found an aftermarket adapter for the usb port in the back that allows a mouse and kb to be attached, does anyone use this? If so, what do you think of it? Are the buttons programmable like on a pc? Does the mouse work well for aiming in FPS's? Last question, if it has a usb port, can I avoid buying the $80 unit made for this, and simply plug in a usb hub and attach a usb mouse and kb to that? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

if i wanted to use a mouse, id play it on pc.

I dont know if you can do this though...would kinda make it unfair to everyone using analog sticks.

yes, you can turn and aim MUCH faster with a mouse then a analog stick...

So people with shorter fingers than me play unfair? Or, if you can use a mouse with an xbox, as Im asking, are all those other people who use a mouse being unfair? How about people who play using a PC, unfair? Would it make you feel better if I said I usually play drunk?
Maybe the fact you can turn and aim much faster should be a clue its the more appropriate controller to use for such games, and we should adopt such setups rather than try to shun them as a form of cheating? Give me a break man. Im just interested in having fun playing the game, not fighting against an inferior controlling medium. Im not asking about cheat codes or something, Im asking about a valid add-on for the gaming system.

Gee, I never expected that reply. Not in a million years. No, really. Maybe we should all sue the manufacturer that makes/sells those mouse/kb add-on units, ya think?

I never said I didnt ****. My ego does not revolve around my kill rate in some game. maybe you should ask yourself why you assumed it did. Does yours?

wow...people who play on a pc play against people on a pc. Same for consoles, that is one of the reasons they dont make xbox360 vs pc mw2 matches man. On the pc you can move the mouse much faster, and stop much fester with it then with an analog stick. I agree with you that the mouse/keyboard control setup is superior...but it's not that hard to adapt to the controller...I've done it for many games
