i think a few people had aq 1200ds, i had one n loved it..probably will do over 500 at 4 and over 1200 at 1 just set the gains right

Ik, its in his budget. Just not sure if his t1 will like double the recommended power handling.

im not saying it couldnt be possible, but how does that work, wouldnt u think without as much resistance it would have alittle more power at atleast 1 ohm? im not really sure how pheonix gold builds there amps tho

IDK how it works, JL slash amps are the same way. I had a 250/1 that was 250rms 1-4 ohms. Their 500/1v2 and 1000/1v2 amps are both, 500 and 1000 rms @ 1.5-4 ohms

Still possibly looking. Might just go with an AQ 1200D but i think the newb getting it will blow his T1 with it. Expecially cuz the last one blew off 600 watts. So still looking for something a bit less than 1200. preferably 600-900
