I bet on italy to win it, and uppers I was right!! hehe,

 

Anyway, I was a little disapointed in the play of my fellow italians towards the end, they ran out of juice in the biggest game of their lives. All in all it felt more like the french lost and italy held on.

Such a sad way to be remembered. Zidane was a stand-up player for the majority of his career, and one of the best PK'rs I have ever had the opportunity to watch. Now, because of one classless act, he will always be remembered by THAT, insted of all of the games he excelled in! Such a shame.

No way that he will be remembered by that. Yea, it will come up in conversations about him, but that wont be his defining moment. He will be remembered for his great career. Its not like that was the first time he did something like that.

In my opinion, the french screwed themselves and their coach made a few lame subs and Italy was able to hang on

Supposedly The Italian player called Zidane a terrorist.

Now this would piss me off alot, but to Zidane it was even worse because he and his family were refugees to France from Algeria. Since Zidane is from Algeria this was a remark that angered him and I'm sure would anger most people. Still I don't agree with what he did.
